Auto Theft Prevention/VATS

Question
I recently bought a 92 Firebird under the impression it was just the fuel pump that needed to be replaced. After replacing the fuel pump among other things I finally jumped the computer for any codes to the problem. I recieved Code 46, which has to do with the VATS. Eventually I traced the problem and found out that one of the wires that come from the ignition to read the resistor isnt a connection, which leads me to think it is broken. What would be the easiest way to go about fixing it? or would it be easier to try and bypass the VATS? and if so, how would i do it?

Answer
To do this, you will need to bypass VATS. The "fix" will run between 600. to 1200.
bucks at GM, and it only brings it back into factory spec.
It would likely fail again after a time. :>(

See the bypass kit for Camaros at www.GMVATS.com and purchase
the 79.95 bypass kit there. This is a very common issue
which we fix here several times a day.

That's GMVATS.com

In stock and ships immediately.

Have a great day.
