Auto Theft Prevention/08 Fusion has no power with new car battery

Question
I just drove my 08 Ford Fusion to Autozone and put a brand new battery in it. Now its dead in the parking lot. Checked the battery with a meter and its fully charged but I'm getting no power in the car what so ever. No dome lights etc... Never had any problems until now but it was a simple battery change and now the car does nothing. Any ideas? I'm told it could be blown fuse but they all looked ok. I was also advised the security system may have shut down the car. What do I do? Thanks, Jim

Answer
Might be the vehilce's PATS system/transponder shut down routine,
but Ford will need to make that determination and since it's still
under warranty, that's where you need to tow it for and
evaluation and reset.

Not allot you can do from this point without
Ford service to inspect.

Good luck with it.
