ok, I inserted my key into the passenger side door and opened it. The alarm came on and horn started honking. I disabled the horn so I could try to figure out how to fix it. After looking it up on the Internet, I would go to the car, turn the acc's on, turn off, take out the key, open driver door, use power locks while open to lock, wait 30 seconds and unlock with the key. I haven't had any luck at all getting the car to start. read some other posts and dc'd the battery, reconnected and repeated the sequence again. Still no luck, i DON'T HAVE THE ALARM KEY FOB, WHAT CAN i DO TO RESET THE SYSTEM SO i CAN USE MY CAR?

Hmmmm, well it's Likely going to be factory if it's
the car's own horn honking.

However, if it's a siren and flashing lights,
it's after market.

So, ok, here's what I know...

Normally, putting the key in the drivers side door lock,
turning to the left, then to the right all the way
will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory"
alarm system.

Unfortunately, that's the extent of what I can or should
share openly here at ALLXPERTS.com :>( .

(Actually, it's also legally prescribed for me not to.)

Obviously, posting this sort of sensitive information
for all to see and implement is not a good idea.
