Question
i have cut the yellow wire and car starts fine. but what happens if the battery goes dead how do you start the car with with the yellow wire being cut

Answer
You don't. You have not fixed PASSLOCK.
You've postponed the inevitable. It will fail eventually,
then you will need to re attach the yellow and re do the
Passlock re programming.

The way you've done it will come back to bite you.
Happens allot. Most peole only do this when selling the car.
You might want to do it another way.

Try www.GMPASSLOCK.com for my solution.

Good luck with it.
