Bonjour,

Depuis quelques jours, l'alarme de ma Focus se déclenche seule et de façon aléatoire. Elle se déclenche même si je ne vérouille pas les portes.
C'est une alarme d'origine qui s'enclenche au verrouillage des portes. Il n'y a pas de capteur à l'intérieur de l'habitacle.
Avez-vous une solution pour déconecter cette alarme et s'avez-vous où elle est située. Aujourd'hui, je suis obligé de débrancher la batterie à chaque fois que je quitte le véhicule.

This is an aftermarket that snaps to lock the doors.
There is no sensor inside the cabin.
Do you have a solution for this alarm déconecter and
proved yourself where it is located. Today, I am forced
to disconnect the battery every time I leave the vehicle.

An after market alarm can react to a shock/impact or
a battery spike. There are other sensors but normally,
this is how an after market system would report an
breach.

Look under the dash area for a button or, a toggle
switch. When you locate it, turn on the ignition
key, press and hold in the button (little
spring loaded micro button, red or black possibly)
until the alarm chirps 1 time. This should over ride
the system, and only the keyless entry part,
if installed, would still be operating.
The LED (light emiting diode) light in the dash
should also go on solid.

This solves the problem for now.

Then if you want to remove it, take it to a local
after market alarm dealer and have it done there.

They may even be able to reset/reprog. the features on
the alarm you have, to allow you to use the system
more comfortably, but of course, your call.
