Question
i just had the checkmate 500 alarm/remote starter installed in my 2011 camery and its set at "passive arming" which can be a pain.how do i switch it over to "manual arming" permanently without just using valet................

Answer
All systems differ in that the features and programming procedures
require a different approach for each.

You would need to look in your user manual for this procedure.
I have not worked with Checkmate, so it's best to either look
in the manual for this setting change, or take it back to the
installer for set up.

Good luck with it.
