Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 6/22/2011

Question
I have a viper model# 5901 which was professionally installed by discount auto sound (which is now out of business) that "was" under a lifetime warranty. I've had it for under two years, it came with the RPN7752V LCD remote. Anyways, I dissarmed it first thing this morning to get something out of my 2001 jeep grand cheeroke larado, and when I tried to rearm it, it wouldn't respond. Now, no matter what I push (lock, unlock, remote start)it just buzzes back with the failed signal. I hadn't started or moved the jeep after I had initially unlocked it to get something out, but after that it just stopped controlling the unit. Do you have any ideas that could help me figure out where to start. I install car audio and video and have installed alarms many years ago. So much technology has changed with the alarms that it was easier to have it professionally installed. But I don't have a problem looking over the system and trying any ideas that you may have. Your help would be appreciated greatly.
