Question
QUESTION: It tries to start 3 times but won't run.
Truck runs fine otherwise with key start??????
Any help would be appreciated.
Has worked very well since I got the truck new.
Both remotes do the same thing.

Thanks Rick

ANSWER: If you are talking about a remote starter, it's likely that the
PASSLOCK 2 bypass kit used needs re programming, or needs one to be installed.

See www.PASSLOCKBYPASS.com for more on this.

QUESTION: I could not find any info on how to re-program the critter????

Answer
And you won't find that as open info online.
This needs to be inspected, located, identified,
then reprogramed. It's an after market device
used to "talk" to the BCM, match the resistance,
open the fuel rail inhibitor, and allow for
remote start.

Not everyone uses the same product to do the
bypasses, but most all will loose programming
if it also looses power. I'd need to get in there
to do that too.

It's a project best handled by a pro.
