Hi, i have a problem on my 98 grand cherokee, it turns on for a sec and then shuts down, some tech mention someting about  a factory anti-theft on this cars, no lights or horn sound, just shut down.

Ok, if malfunctioning now, odds
are, it will again.

Get out some basic install tools or get
a friend or a good technician
in there to do this.

Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
purple/yellow |- |located in the door harness
in the drivers kick panel.

Or, in a 14 pin black plug at the BCM
(body control module) located between
the steering column and the drivers side
kick panel.

The plug is located in the drivers
side front corner of BCM just behind the
knee bolster. All wires in the plug exit
straight down.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the OEM alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.

That'll do it.
