I HAVE A 1993 DODGE DYNASTY AND WHEN EVER SOMEONE HIT THE DOOR SWICTH THE ALARM SETS AND I CAN NOT GET TO DEACTIVATE
THE ALARM SET LIGHT ON DASH BY THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH BLINKS AND WHEN I TRY TO START THE CAR THE PARKING LIGHTS FLASH ON AND OFF AND THE HORN BLOWS AND THE START WON'T START AT ALL IT FEELS LIKE IT IS GOING TO START IT DOES NOT L HAVE TRIED LOOKING FOR WIRING SOMEWHERE THAT WOULD BE OUT OF PLACE WITH ALL THE HARNESS AND AND NOTHING THE CAR HAS BEEN IDLE FOR 3 MOS THIS TIME AROUND LAST TIME IT SAT FOR 2MOS AND THEN ONE DAY IT DEACTIVATED ALL ON IT OWN BUT NOT THIS TIME  PLEASE HELP THIS THE 4TH LETTER I SENT L GOT REPLY ASK ABOUT THE LIGHTING HORN AND SIREN AND HAVE NEVER HEAR BACK BY THE WAY THERE IS NO SIREN IF A VIN # WILL L CAN GIVE IT TO YOU

I never got a response, sorry.

Ok, if the OEM alarm
malfunctioning now,
(car horn blarring and head lights flashing)
odds are, it will again.

Get out some basic install tools or get
a friend or a good technician
in there to do this.

Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
lt. green/orange in the drivers kick panel
or at the alarm above glovebox |- negative polarity|.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the OEM alarm functions entirely.

However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly
easy to steel, so I suggest you get an aftermarket
alarm system to protect it from here on in.
