Expert: INSTALLSUPPORT - 10/22/2007

Question
2003 Ford explorer 4x4 xlt. My car will not start. when i turn the key i hear loud clicking , the lights on the dashboard flashes with the clicks and the other electrical stuff comes one but the car wont start. I alarm turns on after the crazyness stops and the key is out.  then when i turn off the alarm with my remote and do it again, the alarm comes on and the clicking starts. Its as if whenever the alarms comes on, the car wont start. This has happened before, and my battery is fine, should i disconnect my alarm until i can get an expert to take a look? and if so where can i get instructions on how to do it?

Answer
I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)
Or,
is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take, to help you to fix this
situation you're in quickly.
