Question
I have had this alarm for about 5 months now and all of a sudden when i use my remote starter the air doesnt work until i put the key in...anyone know whats up with that?

Answer
Well lemmie give it a shot.

There would be a fuse on the auto starter ACCESSORY wire.
It appears this may be the trouble if the air/heater
works with the key, but not in remote start mode.

If inclined, get in under the dash to get to the
brain of the system, and meter the larger of the
wiring harness wires, probably an ORANGE 8 guage
wire. Then remote start it. If there is current
on both sides of the fuse when started, then you
might have a damaged brain box.

My hunch though is the fuse.

If the power is hot on the brain side of the fuse,
and the starter side of the fuse is dead. the fuse is too.
But you can always pop out the fuse first and look at it.
(sometimes, not always readily avaialable if installed
with loom toobing, heavy tape, etc...)

Go test and let me know what you find.
