Question
I recently bought a Ford Escape with a Karr Security System Series 3 Blue added on by the dealer. I was told that it had GPS tracking and a kill switch, which I recently learned is false. Is there much increased value to this system over the factory system?
Only if it remote starts the car.
The PATS factory immobilizer would keep
it from starting without the key, so,
starter kill is redundent here, but
it still has the added featyres like the
siren and flashing parking lights.
It really depends on what you get for the money.
GPS? wow. new one on me.
