Question
i put a 1997 engine out of a sunfire in my 1996 sunfire now it will start but then dies.i used the wiring harness out of the 97 model as well as the computer and the key switch cylinder.i have already tried method 1 and method 2.but when i took it to the dealer it had the 96 keyswitch in it and they could not recode it.any help on this matter would be dearly appreciatted.ps the theft light flashes when i try to start it.
It's passlock 1, and in a perfect world, the
PLJX self learning bypass module would be the way to
go here, and probably still is, but no way I could
say for sure, but that's what I would try next.
