Question
My car hasn't started on several occasions due to the theft system dash light coming on. It cranks but wont start.  After a few minutes it will finally start. I had the ignition lock replaced and key coded and the next day it wouldn't start again so I took it back into the shop.  I am picking it up today because they cant figure it out.  Ive been doing online research and think maybe the ignition housing should also of been replaced.  What should I do now?

Answer
Well, it's the PASSLOCK system and if GM can not fix
this, then you do have a problem.

I say take this to a technician who does
remote start in your area. Then
have him try to do a PASSLOCK 2 BYPASS
on the system, and ground the input to the chassis.
This MIGHT take it out, and keep it that way.

If it's been damaged though, hard to tell for certain
a bypass can work. Worth a shot at it.

Go to my site at www.PASSLOCK2.com print it out,
and then take it to a decent car alarm shop.

Could help. Won't hurt.

Good luck.
