I can answer most questions that consumer would have about shipping a vehicle, such as the average shipping cost between two places in the US, what are some of the pitfalls and challenges of shipping a vehicle, and the differences between shipping options (open vs. enclosed, operable vs. inoperable). I am unlikely be able answer most questions about becoming a car transporter or running a truck company.
Experience
I work for a company that focuses on the auto transport industry and create most of the educational videos for both sites. We have one site, www.movecars.com, that helps consumers find auto transport companies that meet their specific auto shipping needs. The other site, www.centraldispatch.com, is an online marketplace for industry professionals to post vehicles that need to be shipped and find vehicles to transport. Being around this industry for a number of years has helped me to gain a broad understanding of how it operates.
