I am doing a 32 chevy coupe,how do I make the gap around the doors, and trunk lid wider.    Thanks

There are a few options,first you can peen the edges of the openings with a mallet and a hardwood block gradually making your way around the opening.Also I have ground the edges of the door and rewelded them and then ground them smooth.If you really need to make them wider you can cut along the outside edge of the opening move the body line untill you achieve the desired opening and reweld and grind smooth.
