Question
I have a 69 Chevy Impala, 2 door, hard top. I'm getting it restored and need a new hood for it. Where should I be looking for one at. I've tried several junk yards but had no luck. Is there any other hoods that will fit it?

I just got an email from a yard I'm not famaliar with, but they say they have a hood- A&S auto parts talk to Shane in parts 888-666 5884 I don't know them, or where they are located- be sure they will ship to your location, how much to ship, and if insurance is offered. You might have to truck ship. Ask if they can email pictures of the hood to you. Be sure to cross all the T' and dot all the I's when buying parts you haven't seen in person. It's risky, but finding a hood for a nearly 40 year old car is difficult at best.  Finding one close to you will be even harder to do. Bill
