Auto body repair & detailing/1998 VW bug

Question
I was recently in an accident where my 1998 VW New Beetle was parked on the left side of a one way street and another car (that had been side-swiped) veered into the read-driver's side of my car (and also took out an entire crosswalk sign).  A huge point of impact was to the rear left wheel - it was left flattened and at a 45-degree angle to the side of the car  it was also pushed forward in the wheel well so far that the wheel was left touching the front of the wheel well.  The insurance company is trying to say that any frame damage can be pulled straight, but I am worried that the car will never be quite the same.  What is your opinion on the possibility of bad frame damage and how well frame damage can be fixed?  Thanks!

Answer
Jess sorry but your bug does not have a frame it is whats called a uni-body and that part is good because every thing is spot welded so it can be replaced it will drive the same as long as you take it to the right shop.ask alot of ?s at the shop you take it to ask to see other cars make sure there staff is certified and can do the job.if they act funny or try to hide stuff just take it some where else.
