Question
I have a rear sliding window in my Ram 1500 single cab. The driver side window got broken. does the entire window need to be replaced or just the broken section? Is it something I could do on my own?

Thanks

Answer
Hello Terry! Rear sliders are generally replaced as a unit when a pane of glass has been broken out. It's definitely not a DIY project. If you call a reputable glass service, they can put aftermarket sliders in pretty cheap, and the cost includes installation. If it's the glued in type, you'll never get it out without causing damage to the exterior paint, or inside interior pieces. If it's a gasket type, they're difficult to get in without damaging the seal. Leave it to a pro. Bill
