I am Doing the Prep work on my truck to keep the cost low, I would like to know what type of primer and filler i would need to start from the bottom up.

You can buy most all the replacement panels cheap from places like rockauto.com  and http://www.rustrepair.com/app2/onlinecat.htm?r=go&p=sm-
If you ave never done this before, go to your auto body supply store and ask for help. I would be here all day explaining the materials and procedures. There is a lot more to this then just throwing some bondo and paint
