My 97 ford mercury sable drivers side door wont shut. Just started happening last night. I'm wondering if this is something I need to take in to be looked at, if it's just a common problem with cold weather, or is there a quick fix?

Check the latch to make sure it is open before you close the door. Could be froze. Older car door latches that are worn and dry tend to stick. Lube it up real good, this also helps it from freezing. If it closed, open with the handle, take a screw driver or something that size and open the latch.
