Question
What is the best way to locate a hood and trunk (or deck cover?) for a 2005 Impala located near San Marcos, Texas? I wouldn't mind using non-GM body parts which supposedly look just the same and cost less. Also, what is the ball park repair figure for replacing these 2 parts and doing the paint job to match the color between the hood and the quarter fender? Any gudiance is appreciated. Thanks!
Jane, I have had good success using craigs list or E bay. You could also try any of your local auto recycling businesses. No one can properly estimate your car without seeing it take it to 1 or 2 reputable auto repair shops and let them give you estimates. Good Luck Laren
