Question
I have a 1995 chevy Tahoe and the driver side door only opens from the outside? And when i use the keyless entry sometime it won't open from the outside I have to use the key to get in. can you please tell me what I should do?

Answer
It needs a new inside door handle- this is a common problem with Tahoes and other chevy trucks of that era. As far as the keyless entry, you will need to visit your local GM garage for a diagnostic check of your key fob- unless If you press the power locks on the door panel control and the door lock doesn't always work. It either needs a new lock actuator, or the actuator has broken its attaching rivets and is not functioning properly. This problem is usually accompanied by a window that will only roll down about 1/4 of the way it's supposed to, because the actuator falls inside the door and blocks the path of the window. Shake the door hard, and if you hear a loose sounding part you have a loose actuator. Bill
