Auto body repair & detailing/over spray removal on paint

Question
I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic and the paint has over spray in different areas like trunk, hood, and roof. Is there an easy way to get rid of the over spray and keep the clear coat?

Answer
Try the basics first- water, strong detergent like formula 49, then try mineral spirits. If that doesn't work you really should have a professional look at it. It may need a clay bar overspray removal and power buffed, or worst casc scenario, wet sanded and buffed. Bill
