Auto body repair & detailing/urethane answer

Question
You said: ...must have a chemical additive to complete the curing process. You typically can't find that in aerosol cans. However, there is a Urethane Clear on the market that comes in an aerosol can called SprayMax.

I don't quite see what you said here.  Are you saying the SprayMax DOES have the curing additive?  Or that it cures the coat under it?  What?

Answer
Hi Jim,

SprayMax has a specially designed can that actually has a separate chamber inside the can that holds the additive for curing the paint in the can. If you take a look at the following link you can see a diagram of what I am trying to describe to you: http://www.repaintsupply.com/files/SprayMax 2K Sell Sheets (English).pdf. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this link.

It doesn't cure what is under the finish, It will chemically cure the product in the SprayMax Aerosol Can. What that means is, after you have activated the can it will only be good for the pot life time. Each SprayMax 2K product will have a different pot life. I hope this helps clear up the miss understanding.
