Question
The Grill on my 98 F150 has faded badly.  It is very expensive to replace or have a body shop re-finish it.  What type of spray paint (canned) can I use to do it myself?

Answer
Hi Bob,

I would use the aerosol paint made by SEM Co. Their products are very good when used correctly. They have a wide variety of colors and they are designed for painting bumpers, grilles and other trim pieces on vehicles. Stick with either Trim Paints or Bumper Coater for paint your grille. I have worked in a PPG paint retail/wholesale business for the last 15 years. I have dealt with many issues regarding paint and repair materials on a daily basis over the years. I don't know that I have all the answers but I would be willing to try.
