Question
Hi, I have a 2008 Honda civic and a basketball net fell down and made a large
dent by the edge where the the strip is. What would they do to repair this?

Answer
Hi Brian,

Depends on how bad it is. Sometimes it may be cheaper to buy a new hood and re-paint than it would be to repair. Often times a shop will pull the dent and skim coat it with a layer of body filler, prime, and block sand the remaining dent out. This is done most often when dents are repairable to avoid spraying color on the whole hood. This allows for the best color match using the least amount of paint. However, I would let the bodyshop make the determination for the best repair possible.
