Question
HI William I'm working on a 1956 olds i removed the passenger door and hinges to do some repair work. Now where do i even begin to start to align the door again. i spent hours and it just seems to get worse. the back of the door is sagging and it hits the fender when you open and close the door. seems easy to fix but ,how do i know if i mode the door adjustments or a hinge?

Answer
John, all I can really tell you is you adjust doors the same way you get to Madison Square garden- Practice, man, practice. I've seldom fooled woth the style hinges of which you speak, so I'm of little help here. It sounds like the hingeds need rebuilt. Bill
