Question
Sir, we have purchased a used Rodeo and can not open the rear door.  We were told to insert the key, turn, lift the window, then pull latch to open the door. The problem is the window is locked or jamed and does not lift.  Is there a way to remove the inside rear panel so we can research the probem?  Any suggestions would be appricated greatly, because we would like to simply use the space for grocery shopping.  Our vehicle does not have power locks.

Answer
Hi Machele,

You can remove the inner door panel. However when you do you will probably break the plastic retainers that hold the panel on. Be prepared to replace most or all of them with new retainers. I would start at the bottom of the door and use a trim retainer tool. To see what I'm talking about for the tool you can follow this link: http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_trim_pad_removal.cfm
I hope this helps.
