Question
What is the best and easiest way to straighten out a 2 inch X 6 foot chrome strip (Rocker moulding).it does not have any 90 degree folds or bends just sort of twisted and some large waves/curves,it appears to be made out of alunimum.it is attached to the car along the back side with plastic wedges, that are screwed to the car at 8-10 inch intervals, the car is a 1990 Ford Country Squire LX station wagon.with a 5L V8 fully loaded.
Thank You.

Answer
There is no good way of doing this but if you have to, take some wooden paint paddles and a small hammer and just work it the best you can, little by little. Lay the molding on a block of wood, lay a paddle over the damaged area and hammer out the problem the best you can.
