Auto body repair & detailing/FRONT END

Question
This morning I backed into my sons' 96 Riviera, I slightly smashed the left, front, end, the light is loose and there is a 4 inch dent. Approximately how much will this body work be? My deductible is $500, should I just pay or go through my insurance?

Answer
Hi Tracy,

I'm not sure exactly about how much it will cost but I can tell you for sure it will be more than your deductible. How much more I'm not certain. You will find that if you have estimates done at several shops you will get back a broad range of prices. If you have the money it will be cheaper probably to pay for it out of pocket than letting your insurance pay because they are going to go up for about 3 years. I hope this helps make you decision.
