Question
Hi Gary!

1. What kind of adhesive/filler should I use to fill in the holes (about 0.25 inch diameter) for the Honda emblem and license plate attachment prior to painting? I want a smooth looking bumper. The material needs to allow sanding and painting.

2. What should the bumper preparation be prior to filling the holes?

I have a new OEM Honda bumper cover for a 2000 Honda S2000. The material is not stamped on the back side. It is black plastic and would likely drag if sanded rather then create powder.

Thanks for your help.
Rob

Answer
Hi Robert,

3M makes a product designed for plastic repair, Part # 05895. You can go to this site http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd-05895.cfm and it has a video showing how to repair plastics. It will also tell you what other products you will need for the repair. I hope this helps.
