Question
What is the proper way to remove glued on (adhesive backed) stainless steel rocker panel that was added to the vehicle as after market item?

Answer
Hi Todd,

You will need to use a solvent based adhesive remover. 3M makes a great one which can be found here: http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_general_purpose.cfm
Sometimes you can also use a heat gun to heat up the adhesive and with a plastic scraper you can peel it off. Good luck!
