Question
I have a Taurus 03 and need to have the following parts replaced:

FRT BUMPER ASSY (cover, absorber, bar)
RT FRT LIGHT ASSY
HOOD
GRILLE

(1) What would be the guess of the labor hours?

(2) I have bought some used parts, but the bumper cover and hood need to be re-painted. Would there be additional hours for painting?

(3) Could you guess the total charge for the work?

Thank you!

Answer
Paint and body labor should be less than 12 hours if the parts are perfect. These times are for brand new parts, not used, scratched or dinged. Add a couple hundred for paint materials.
My body and paint labor rate is $44.00 per hour which is close to the national average. Frame and mechanical rates are higher.
