Question
Mike. I have a 2001 Grand am se 1 and the drivers door isnot closing tightly leaving a gap that lets in wind and noise like its partially open.Is there a pin adjustment i can do? A strong wind might have opened it too far,you can clearly see the gap when you look at the trim from the side. Thanks Ian..

Answer
You may have to go to a body shop for this one if you think you sprung the door frame with it opening too far. Adjust the striker first, it may be out a bit. You can also take a block of wood, place it at the striker to the door and push in at the top of the door. The tops of these doors bend out and in easy so that could be your problem. Most body shops won't charge you much for a quick adjust with a door bar either.
