Question
After being hit on right side, the rear of my pick-up is about 1 1/2" high on that side. The body shop said that they couldnt level it up. ( they said the frame wasnt bent, and it drives ok). The question is, could I safely use a 1 1/2 inch lift block on the opposite side, to level it?

Answer
Sid, if the truck was not lifted on the right side prior to the accident; you need to have the shop or another shop find the problem. It can be the frame regardless what the shop told you. It could be the bed, it could be a body bushing installed upside down for some reason. Please do not shim this problem. Get another opinion. There may be underlying serious issues and you want to make sure they are resolved. Hope you get this resolved. Please do not band-aid the problem. David
