I would like to replace the driver side fender on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee How do I go about doing it do I need special tools. How long should it take to remove and how long to reinstall.

The job pays 2.4 hours to change the fender. You will have to remove the front panel first, the rest is simple. No special tools except you wil find a mixture of SAE and metric nuts and bolts on that model. I worked for Jeep dealer for 3 years and the Cherokee was always a pain because of that.
