My wife has a 1995 Honda Odyssey that runs great. There is one problem-rust around the windshield.  She lived near the ocean for 10 years and the windshield has been replaced twice.  There are 3 areas of rust. We don't want to spend a fortune and we don't want any leaks. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

The only way to fix this problem so it will not come back is to have the windshield cut out, repair the rust, repaint and reinstall the windshield. The glass co that replaced it should have either prepped it better or inform you of the problem before installing the new glass. Most of these companies do work for the ins. companies so cheap, they don't care to spend a lot of time on your car and they don't pay their help much either. Good luck, that's a major problem here in Michigan too.
