Auto body repair & detailing/auto scratches

Question
hi,

i have some  light scratches on my car and i was wondering whether you know of anything that i  can buy to fix the scratches without going to the auto repair shop that cost too much thanks

Answer
Hi Tina, if the scratches are not to deep (thru the paint job) they may be able to be polished out with a rubbing compound. A bodyshop will normally do for free if the area is small enough. Good customer service will help you thru this. Otherwise if they are to deep; touch up paint (Free in most cases) or repainting (Costly) may be required.

Local parts store also sells rubbing compound; $7-10. If that's the case.

Thanks Tina,
David
