Auto body repair & detailing/bumper replacement

Question
i rear ended someone at about 10 mph and am paying for the repairs,
apparently the bumper needs to be replaced b/c of a crack all the way
through and into the "insulation" pad as well.  It is an Acura.  My question is,
how long should it take the shop to replace the bumper?  They are saying
that they need 3 days, which seems like a lot.  What do they need 3 days to do
exactly?
Thanks-

Answer
Tear down the car and inspect and/or repair one day, paint day two, buff and polish, assemble and clean up day three. I could do it a lot quicker because I'm a one man shop, I do it all. Most big shops will take a minimum of three days just to cover there butts.
