Question
i have a 93 jeep cherokee and both rocker panels are extremely rusty as well as the lower quarter panels(so much so that you can see through them) whats a quick easy fix for this

Answer
Hi David. It is difficult to answer your question without seeing the damages. However, rust is rust. Nothing good about rust. The panels may need replaced; very costly and would most likely exceed the value of the car. Repair to rust panels is costly as well and will not last very long; money wasted. There are allot of cars out there that do not have rust and cost less than the repairs to a jeep that has rust damage. In all honesty David, there is no quick fix I could recommend to you. Rust holes and damage that you see right now is the visible rust. It is most likely large areas around the damage you see are rusted also, and you just cant see it yet. Hope this helps. a few estimates from a shop or two may share good advice as well. It is worth a trip to the shop.
Good Luck David. Try to stay away from investing in rust repairs. Trust me!
