Auto body repair & detailing/Ford Explorer

Question
My 2000 Explorer still looks real good except for the faded wheel well covers and bumpers. Is there a product I can buy to put the "newness" back into them? The SUV is gold with the black covers.

Answer
Hi Cindy,

I assume you're talking about the fender flares and the impact strip on the bumper which are probably black? The best way of course would be to paint them. SEM Corp. makes a very high quality aerosol spray paint called Bumper Coater which can be used for restoring the color of most plastics. You can check it out at this website: http://www.repaintsupply.com/cat_bumper.cfm

I hope this helps you out.
