restoring 67 camaro conv.  floor pans are in decent shape    a few dents & dings, surface rust ,rust pits ,& loose seam sealer   whats the best way to prep. & resurface the floor pans

The best way, but sometimes not practical, is to sand blast all the rust, prime and paint. If that's not an option, go to your auto body supply store and ask for some kind of chemical rust treatment. Clean the rusted areas the best you can and use that and make sure you follow the instructions.
