Question
HI Mike

Recently bought a slightly damaged Altima and plan to put a new bumper and right fender on it.

TO get the fender off it appears I have to take the rocker panel off but have taken all visible connectors off. It doesnt want to come out. Can you help?

Also I have taken the bumper off and am waiting for the replacement. What are the proper steps to put the new bumper on

Thanks  Jeff

Answer
You will probably have some plastic clips inside that you can't see. You will probably have a good chance of breaking most of the clips. Carefully pry it back far enough to get one of them off or at least get a good look at so you can figure out the easiest way to get the panel off. Chances are, you will have to order new clips. Sometimes you can just pull back on these rocker moldings far enough to get at the fender bolts.
