Question
I have a 88 Lincoln Town car with a back which I can not open. I have manage to open the rear left (driver side)door by bumping it a few times but it doesn't work for the other side. I have lock and unlocked the doors manually and electronically. I even tried taking the hinges off but it does no good. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Thank you,

Anthony (JustCool)

Answer
Lock the door, light pound, with your hand, the door around the latch area. Unlock the door and try to open. Do not try to open the door while it is locked, the lock it jammed and corroded. Try this several times, it should work eventually. If not, you will have to try to remove the trim panel to get access to the latch mechanism.
