Question
i have a 97 jeep cherokee sport 2dr and it's blue with gray plastic around the tires and down the middle of each side. i was wondering how to get it to restick, its coming off a little bit on the sides, at one end by the tire it's popped up but if left it could continue down the line. any help i would appreciate. also on my cherokee the back bumper is starting to rust and the paint is chipping away, it's black, how can i repaint it?

Answer
There is no real good way to re-attach the side moldings without taking them off and re-taping with 3M 2 sided molding tape. I have used 3M weatherstrip adhesive for smaller jobs. The rear bumper, being black, would be fairly simple to sand, prime and paint yourself. Go to your auto body supply store and ask the sales person what you need for both jobs.
