Question
hi, I have a 1984 corvette with a targa top, the top has some minor cracks in the fiberglass around the corners and i was wondering what the cheapest way would be to fix this aesthetic problem.  the cracks to travel through the fiberglass but the fiberglass at this area does not have any bearing on support or really any forces exerted on it.  Thanks

Answer
Hi, difficult to answer without seeing. However, a good bodyshop can answer better if they see the top. If cracks are not repaired correctly no matter how large or small; they will return to surface very quickly as fiberglass swells and shrinks based on tempature. You can patch the areas wrong and it will look worse and be more costly soon after to repair. Please go to a shop and get their opinion on this. Good luck Lan.
