Question
I have a 1984 eldorado biarritz convertible. I would like to find out how to refinish the stainless steel trim, mirrors etc. They are pitted and stained.

Hi Mitch,
I ran across this website: http://www.moparstyle.net/technical/trimrepair.htm You might try and take a look and see what they recommend. You also might check out a product by POR-15 called Glisten PC. It's basically a clear-coat finish that can be applied after you have polished you stainless out. It's a very tough finish that is scratch resistant and flexible. It should take care of any further deterioration. I hope this helps.
