Question
I know you don't do estimates, all I need is a guesstimate.  Here's why, my roof was recently replaced and the roofers threw debris off the roof on to the hood of a car in my driveway.  I am going to ask for the repair amount off on my bill.  I don't want to under estimate.
It's a 1996 Cougar XR7 2 Door, Blue, No body damage except the scratches to the front hood area and some scratches on the front bumper.

Answer
Hi Lisa,

It will vary depending on where you get an estimate and what type of material they use. It would surprise me if you could get it re-painted for less than $500.00. However, depending on the scratches and how deep they are you might be able to have a body shop or a professional detailer actually buff the scratches out. If you can feel the scratches with a fingernail then it will need to be re-painted. Good Luck!
